Making a Payment

We accept all major credit cards. When you sign up for telemedicine appointments through our Simple Practice platform, you’ll be given the option to have them securely store your credit card information and have us bill your card following the appointment. If you’d prefer, we can manually charge your card by having you read us the card information at the end of the appointment.

Insurance

We are not on any insurance panels, and we don’t bill insurance companies. This means that you will need to pay out-of-pocket for your sessions; however, we can help you if you wish to use your insurance to help defray the cost. We will provide you with a receipt that will allow you to get reimbursed at whatever rate your insurance company has set for out-of-network providers, and we’ll talk with them if you need us to. Ask your insurance what yearly deductible you will first need to meet and, after that, what portion of the per-session cost they will cover.

We are both licensed marriage and family therapists (LMFTs). Almost all insurance companies accept this license for psychotherapy with individuals, couples, and families, but just to be sure that this is true for your plan, give them a call to double check that they will cover your working with us. We both have Blue Cross Blue Shield provider numbers, so if you have BCBS insurance, the reimbursement may be more straightforward.

For you to receive insurance reimbursement for your sessions, we will need to give you a DSM or ICD-10 diagnosis. We’ll talk to you about this in your first session.
